Tangled Depths
Tangled Depths is a zone in the Heart of Maguuma and features the roots of the jungle, one of the 3 main biomes that make up the zones in the Heart of Maguuma. The main enemies encountered here are the Chak, insect creatures with an affinity for ley-line energy. It is also home to the Nuhoch hylek tribe, and the location of the lost asuran city of Rata Novus.

Achievements
Trigger 100 chak ambushes
Destroy all of the chak eggs in the scrap cannon adventure in one attempt.
Defeat the Chak Driver in Tangled Depths.
Kill 7 champion chak.
Open 50 crystallized supply caches.
Dance in the secret disco cave.
Use the diving goggles near the SCAR outpost.
Kill the secret earth elemental.
Kill the chak gerent
Fly to the place of power in the Ley-Line Confluence.
Scare 100 bird flocks.
Bypass the Mordrem snipers using Stealth Gliding and steal their supplies!
Kill all three possible Mordrem champions in Dragon’s Passage.
Outpost: Ogre Camp
Participate in every stage of the ogres’ survival in Tangled Depths.
Climb to the top of the crashed airship in the Ogre camp.
Succesfully participate in the three consecutive defense events in the Ogre Lane during King of the Jungle.
Outpost: Rata Novus
Collect all of the parts needed to repair the ancient broken golem in Rata Novus.
Participate in every stage of building Rata Novus back up.
Answer questions from the ancient holographic professors in Rata Novus.
Find the secret Rata Novus laboratory.
Find your way to the treasure chest in the mushroom cave in Tangled Depths.
Successfully participate in the three consecutive defense events in the Rata Novus Lane during King of the Jungle.
Outpost: Teku Nuhoch
Participate in every stage of building Teku Nuhoch back up.

Defeat the great skelk regurgitant in Tangled Depths.
Defeat Champion Potoni the Massive in Tangled Depths

Succesfully participate in the three consecutive defense events in the SCAR Lane during King of the Jungle.
Participate in every stage of helping the SCAR team recover from the crash.
Glide from the Mordrem migration path in SCAR Field Operations all the way to Dragon’s Passage.

Eat yellow mushrooms to score points and blue mushrooms to gain abilities that help you in your hunt. Beware of the poisonous mushrooms with green spores, and use your burrow ability to bypass closed gates!

Scrap Rifle Field Test: Silver
Kill as many chak as you can before the timer runs out, but be careful-your scrap rifle is prone to overheating! Destroying chak eggs will release a goo that will heal you and cool your rifle if you are close by, but it’s likely to stir up the chak.
